In order to be successful, you have to be persistent. If you are consistent and determined to be the best, your peers and your boss will take notice of your effort. Figure out the things in your life that deserve your time, energy, and resources, and commit to them. Avoid becoming lazy in your approach to your work.
Be aware that there will be obstacles in your way as you pursue success in your career. As long as you are disciplined, you should be able to overcome the obstacles that are put in your way. Avoid becoming someone who can be easily distracted.
Having conviction means that you believe in yourself and your abilities. To make sure that you still have conviction in what you are doing, take some time and do an assessment of your career. If you believe that the passion and excitement is no longer there, then it may be in your best interest to do something else. Continuing to do something that you no longer have conviction for will only make things worse in the long run.

Always Show Compassion
In addition to having love for your work, you should also treat your peers with compassion and respect. Treat people the way that you would like to be treated. When you show compassion and treat others with kindness, you’ll improve the morale of everyone around you.
People can gain knowledge through observing and identifying things. You have to seek knowledge about your field so that you can understand what it takes to be successful. Without having knowledge, you may find yourself unaware of certain things, which can be perceived as a weakness. Spend some time looking up information about your field either through reading some books or searching online.
