Chris Hall has been working under Talking Rain Beverage Company for more than a decade and is currently the Chief Executive Officer.

Before he joined Talking Rain, Chris was a part of the hospitality industry in addition to being a submariner in the United States Navy. His experience with the hospitality industry and the Navy led him to be more equipped to strive for greatness with everything he does.
Chris Hall was hired as an HR assistant when he became a part of Talking Rain back in 2007 and quickly transitioned into sales and marketing role in food service. He was soon promoted to Midwest Market Manager and Midwest and Northeast Regional Sales Manager in 2009. Around that time, Sparkling Ice began to take flight and Chris transitioned to Director of Sales for the Midwest and Northeast, during which, he gained national distribution for Sparkling Ice with Kroger.
Following his position as VP of Sales in the Midwest and Northeast where he reached 100% distribution and coverage for DSD, Chris became VP of Sales, overseeing DSD and retail sections of the company in 2014. He became overseer for Sales and Supply Chain Operations when he was heralded as the Chief Operating Officer. It was in the middle of 2018 that Chris was made the Chief Executive Officer where he would begin taking the company in a more productive and effective direction, leading Talking Rain to send out 15 million cases of Sparkling Ice in three months, a record-breaking accomplishment at that time.
Outside of work, Chris, who received his B.S. in Business at Central Washington University, spends time with his family in Black Diamond, WA.
Talking Rain Beverage Company was born from a need to give customers a fun, full-flavored beverage to drink, without the sugar. Sparkling Ice came into the scene back in 1992 as a response to that need.
A standard day for Chris starts at 4:30 am where he exercises and leaves home by 5:30 to reach the office at around 6. Fewer meetings result in more things getting done. Chris’s lunch hour is typically spent catching up with different teammates during one on one meetings. Chris leaves the office around 5 or 6 pm to attend to other business commitments or to spend time with family.
Any fresh ideas come from noticing trends, meeting the needs of the customer and keeping an open mind when it comes to innovations. Sparkling Ice became one of those health innovations.
Chris noted that innovations in sparkling waters are taking the scene. Functional waters, especially, have been changing in exciting ways.
Having the right people on board to communicate can bring more success to something like Sparkling Ice and Talking Rain.
Networking is crucial and can lead to some incredible opportunities for expansion, mentally and physically.
Chris notes that focusing on trends, taking things slowly, and listening more than speaking are important to do as an entrepreneur. As such, Chris has capitalized on those behaviors in order to find more success in his personal and professional life.
